A corporate website for a regulator or public body is a working system as much as a publication: thousands of pages maintained by staff across departments, information published from internal databases, and forms and services for the public built into it.

We design and build these sites on a content management system, so your own staff publish and approve content, and we integrate the site with the systems behind it.

What we build

  • Corporate websites: responsive design, information architecture worked out with your users, and templates your staff can use without a developer.
  • Content management: Progress Sitefinity for public websites and SharePoint for intranets and document management, configured and extended to fit the organisation, with workflow for authoring and approval.
  • Integration: product lists, registers and notices published automatically from internal systems; online forms feeding straight back into them.
  • Mobile apps: companion apps for iOS and Android where a site's audience needs them.
  • Hosting and support: cloud hosting that scales with demand, and ongoing maintenance of the site and the platform.

How we approach it

Design starts with workshops on who the site serves and what they come to do, and with a look at how the current site is actually used. From that comes an information architecture, visual designs and a functional specification. We build the templates and integrations, migrate content, and train the people who will run the site.
