This notice explains what information this website collects, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.engine.ie only; the systems we build for clients have their own privacy notices.
Who we are
Engine Solutions Ltd, 18 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, Ireland, is the data controller for this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@engine.ie.
Information you give us
This website has no forms or accounts. If you email or phone us, we keep your contact details and what you tell us for as long as we need them to reply, to deal with your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage our work for you. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell or share them with anyone else.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, keeps standard server logs of requests to the site, including your IP address, the pages requested and your browser type. We use these only to keep the site secure and running, and they are deleted after a short period.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, how you reached the site, roughly where you are (town or city level), and the type of device and browser you use. Google processes this on our behalf and may transfer it outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards in its data processing terms. We use the reports only to understand how the site is used. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use two kinds:

Your rights
Under data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email info@engine.ie and we will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.
